Description
With this lesson, students will learn about the major events of the Korean War. This lesson primarily focuses on the causes and the impact of the war, with emphasis on the effectiveness of containment. Topics include the Truman Doctrine, domino theory, communist China, and the United Nations. All of the topics are broken down in language that is accessible to students at a middle school level or at a high school level in a general U.S. History class.
