Description

In this Cold War inquiry, students will address the question – “Was U.S. policy effective at containing communism from 1946 through 1962?” students will work through a series of supporting questions, formative performance tasks, and featured documents in order to construct an argument supported by evidence from a variety of sources. Formative lessons address containment policy through the presidencies of Truman, Eisenhower, and Kennedy.
