Description

This lesson focuses on the Bill of Rights. Students will complete an interactive presentation and then visit stations relating to the Supreme Court rulings and teenagers. My students were thoroughly engaged and their learning was substantial. They absolutely loved these activities! I’ve now updated this lesson to also include a digital and distance learning version.

To make sure that students clearly understand the lesson being presented, I’ve created a clearly written presentation with formative assessment questions built write in! Students can answer the questions with a web-based program called Pear Deck (tutorial provided) or during the class discussion. Pear Deck is not necessary for this lesson.

This lesson includes:

  • five pages of handouts and a graphic organizer for students (PDF, PowerPoint, and a Google Slides Link)
  • a 15 slide presentation with built-in assessment questions (PowerPoint and a Google Slides Link)
  • a 3-page lesson plan (PDF)
  • 5 stations with three posters per. station
