Description

This lesson serves as an introduction to the lives of people in the west. Students have been previously introduced to this unit by learning about the myths of the west. Now, they will learn about some of the groups of people who actually lived there. As this is one of the first activities of the school year, this activity is much more simple. While there are primary sources in the lesson for students to engage with, most of the lesson focuses more on the carefully written text. Students will answer a couple of questions at each station to check their understanding. Further lessons will have students analyze these groups more closely.
